SC Droughtmasters, Steven and Claire Farmer, have recently announced the sale of 7 leading 2016 drop prospective sires to Munda Reds WA.
This follows on from the sale of 300 stud females and the Comanche stud prefix in 2015. The sale averaged $25,000/head and included the first released sons from Lisgar Dallas, Clonlara 340, as well as two sons of Billabong Barnaby.
In negotiating the sale, Mr Thompson of Munda Reds said:
“I was impressed with the performance data available at hand and the opportunity to purchase leading sires in paddock condition”.
Following the success of the last drop of Lisgar Dallas progeny, SC Droughtmasters has decided to release semen to the domestic and international markets. Lisgar Dallas is a homozygous polled bull and is described as being structurally correct, large frame with very good performance and fertility data. He has consistently passed his traits onto his progeny including a very good temperament.
SC Droughtmasters will also be offering 8 bulls at the upcoming Fitzroy Crossing Sale on the 24th of August 2018 (7 by Lisgar Dallas). They will also be selling 7 bulls at the Bullzeye Sale to be held in Capella on the 12th October 2018. The Bullzeye Sale Team will include 4 progeny by another new sire in Comanche Go Burnsie as well as, Lisgar Dallas, Billabong Barnaby and SC 538.
